Standard Shifter Kit

This kit will fit almost any stock, unmodified Chinese 2 Stroke bike engine and allow the user to shift gears using the bike's standard rear derailleur.
NOTE: This kit is not designed to work with the slant plug head engines. It is for 2 stroke engines with standard compression ratio straight plug head and is supplied with a standard front freewheel. If you have a slant head or raised compression engine, or a 66+cc engine you must use our HD kits or HD freewheel.

We also suggests a chain breaker and crank removal tool for this installation if you do not already own them.

Do not forget to measure your seat tube and select the appropriate size.

Carb Jets - Dellorto 5mm main jet

Genuine Dellorto jet. 5mm thread for use on stock NT 2 stroke carburetor to dial in proper fuel air mix.

You will need to learn to read your spark plug and learn a bit about tuning prior to changing jets, but it's not too difficult, and changing the jet itself is straight forward. Just drain the fuel, remove the float bowl and unscrew the jet, then reassemble.

WE HAVE A GOOD SUPPLY OF THE SIZE RANGES WE CARRY

Engine Sound Dampeners

JNMDamp-Pro - for quieting your engine - from inside the covers. The Aerospace dampening material is layered and constrained viscoelastic (flexible and it flows) damper that converts the vibration energy into low level heat. Shown in the picture is the reflective foil side (foil is a hefty 6 mils). Material overall is 70 mils thick and very dense.

This kit includes magneto cover, sprocket cover, and clutch cover dampening device material cut to shape. They go INSIDE the covers so don't be too concerned with the look before installation, the material is dense and very sticky - yet will just flow to the edges of inside the covers and be contained by the thick foil and the cover, they are peel and stick (white backing) self adhesive. Works fine with our shift kit and our outer clutch cover - in fact used together makes the clutch nice and quiet. Your friends will wonder what you have done to your engine - under $15!!

Front Engine Mount - Large Universal

Large Universal front mount for the Chinese 2 stroke.

LARGE Universal front mount is for 1 1/2" (1.5" or 38 mm) up to 2" (51 mm) bike down tube diameters.

This unique offset design of the mount allows it to not only fit various down tube sizes and required installation lengths but will also reduce vibration. You can mount it so that it does not greatly increase the length of the front mount from stock or it can be flipped around to increase the length of the front mount. (Please see our downloadable installation instructions for photos) It can also accommodate oval shaped tubes.

The bracket is made from HD steel and is powder coated gray. The kit comes with all the necessary hardware for almost any application.

We sell two general sizes for tube size - large and small. Within those sizes the mounts are sized to fit both types of engine stud spacing - there are narrow and wide stud spaced engines made in China. The correct mount must be selected.

Down tube size means the tube Outer Diameter (O.D.) - the tube sizes are somewhat approximate due to bike tube manufacturing tolerance, paint thickness, etc. Most bikes range from 1.125" to 2.00". Diameter is the distance across or the actual tube size. It means two times the radius. Not the distance around the tube, which is called circumference. Diameter is best measured using a caliper - you can even use a low cost plastic caliper. Also - if you have accurately measured the circumference of your down tube, you can convert to diameter using Pi X D = Circumference. To find Diameter (D) if you know Circumference, divide Circumference by Pi (3.141) or there are on line calculators.

As noted also please verify and select the center to center spacing of your engine studs. The two sizes are ~1.6" (~41 mm) and ~1.9" (~48 mm). These are approximate distances because the engine studs may not be perfectly parallel.
